Plans Man.

Dude, the trip is goanna be long.  And there’s got to be lots of good food, sights and stops along the way.  Now that the route is set, we’ve got to fill in the rest of the trip details.  The AD Roadtrip team is looking for suggestions, recommendations, warnings and freebies along the route.  So please comment on the following categories:

• Where to stay:  We have kids and relatively high standards, no hourly rate reco’s por favor.
• Where to eat:  Preference is to eat on the cheap and quantity is the choice over quality.  Anything a la Diners Drive-Ins and Dives would be fab.
  
• What to see:  See it from the car, see it from afar, see it up close, see it see it reco’s.
• What to avoid:  Dont’s for everything, lodging, food, sights and weirdos.

Here’s the route again:  Austin to Albuquerque to Salt Lake City to Park City to Salt Lake City to St George to Las Vegas to Pasadena to Irvine to San Diego to Los Angeles to San Francisco and reverse it back to Austin. Whew, I’m spent and hungry.
